Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress best recognized for her role as the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. Her role was praised by critics as Eleni Anderson Cooper. This was her first television role in CBS' soap drama Guiding Light. Her most notable movies comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the writer of the Immortals film Immortals is being adapted for the large-screen. The actress will work alongside Vlas Parlapanides and Charley Parlapanides. The show she is starring in, Gods & Heroes is currently being developed.
