Felicity Jones is an British actress best known in the role of Jane Hawking in the critically popular film The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting when she was twelve years old. She's been actress in numerous plays, television shows, and films. Jones started her career as an actor by appearing in the television film The Treasure Seekers. Then she played the character of Ethel Hallow another television show known as The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. Her debut film, Flashbacks of a Fool, featured her as Young Ruth. Since then she has been in a variety of films. In films like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she achieved notoriety for her character. Her performance on the screen in The Theory of Everything was what earned her her first Oscar nomination. The biopic is based on the scientist Stephen Hawking, and Jones received a lot of praise from audiences and critics due to her superb portrayal of Hawking's first wife. Inferno was the Tom Hanks thriller was her subsequent role. Jones won her the British Artist of year award in 2016 from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles. The award was given for her extraordinary talents and her contribution to the film.
