Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, also known as Ashanti was born on 13 October on the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She's a performer and an actress from her native United States. Her talent was first noticed in her teens. She signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. Ashanti made an appearance as The Fat Joe's What's Luv? The Fat Joe's What's Luv and Foolish? First female artist to be atop the top two positions across the United States, with Foolish first and What's Luv? The first female artist to hold both of the highest two positions on the Billboard Hot 100 in America With Foolish as number one and the other being What's Loving? The self-titled debut album of Ashanti was released in 2002 on Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. record label. The Declaration, her fourth studio-album, was released in June 2008 On the 16th of October Hey Baby (After the Club) was made available to radio and digital outlets. She has acted in the film Christmas in the City as well as Army Wives. The song she sang Rock wit U was sampled by British rapper Aitch to record his song Baby on March 10 2022.
